help sending geocache to garmin legend hcx

Trying to prepare for summer hols and suddenly, we can't seem to send new
geocaches to our GPS.

It finds the device, says file saved successfully, and garmin plugin test
says all OK.

But hunt everywhere on the Etrex - Geocaches (where it should be),
Waypoints, POI (I duuno, why not!) can't find it!

What next to try - running out of ideas here!

Got there - in case anyone else hits this, the MENU button (bottom left) is
context dependent.
So PAGE - GEOCACHE - MENU gives an option to list caches by name _or_ by
nearest - it was set to nearest so not showing caches some distance away.
(The "hols" should have been a clue!)

Nearest is the default factory setting. And with that setting only
caches within (I believe) 72 km /45 miles from your the location you are
at will be displayed.
