Sort of a stupid question

Been caching for quite a while and I've just been avoiding this question.
It really doesn't make a hill of beans of difference... just curious.

If I were to verbally tell someone the following coordinates, how would I
say it?

N43�39.053' W87�09.700'

Would I say "North forty three degrees thirty nine point zero five three
minutes by west eighty seven degrees nine point seven minutes"?

Just curious.

I think it would also be just as clear if you leave out the "by" and
just say "North forty three degrees thirty nine point zero five three
minutes, west eighty seven degrees nine point seven minutes"
