Benters,

A week or two ago a guy from Bicycle One of Gahanna, OH advertised a couple
of RANS Bikes on these NG's. After looking at the website, and contacting
them, I decided to buy a Stratus from these guys (at a very fair price,
IMO!)

I dealt with Rick M. (I'll protect his anonymity) every time I contacted the
shop down there (I'm in Detroit). He was very polite and friendly, he
answered all of my questions thoroughly, and he real straightforward...never
holding any information back or anything like that.

I decided to drive down there today to get the bike instead of having it
shipped. When I got down there, I found one of the nicest bike shops I've
been in in years. They dealt a LOT of 'bents there, and it was one of those
kinds of places that you just don't want to leave too soon, y'know? Once
again, everyone there was real pleasant and helpful, and my Stratus was
right out in the front of the shop waiting for me as I walked in (kinda like
when I bought a Saturn a few years ago...).

My thanks and kudos to Rick M. and the entire staff of Bicycle One. The bike
is great, the shop looked great, the staff was great, and as far as I'm
concerned there's a new superbent shop in e-town! Check 'em out at
www.bicycleone.com .

I bought a Rans Wave from them last May, and have been exceptionally
pleased.. A friend of mine who knows only that bikes have tires, called them
for my last birthday, from NY. He talked to them, told them what bike I had
and bought me a gift certificate, which was there advise.. He went on to
describe his phone call to them and how they guided him through what he
thought I needed to how the gift certificate came about.. He was very one

Hey, I got my Stealth there. (Bicycle ONE) For selection and
friendliness, you can't beat the store, about five or six bents to ride
and compare and very friendly. I dealt with Troy myself.

I use a custom racing shop for maintenance. Tritech Multisport. They
are great mechanics, probably from doing all the custom builds, and they
are up the street from me.

That shop doesn't carry recumbents but they maintain both of mine
beautifully. When I first discovered Tritech, I was huge, and they never
discouraged me from trying to ride a bike because of that. Instead they
talked to me about what was possible, and about the Clydesdale divisions
in triathlon, where I could find people like me. Because of them, I
started commuting to work by bicycle, I learned to row, took up swimming
again, and now race.

SInce we are plugging great shops,
they are Tritech Multisport in Columbus, Ohio.

Cool website too.
