Introducing me...

I am sitting here reading messages, trying to work up enough courage to
attempt a second try at a essay about Nationalism for a course called Beyond
Orientalism. Man it is tough. The last essay was easy because the authors
actually said something, but dammit, these authors say nothing!!! Ok, now
that I got that out, I shall introduce myself a little. Read further if you
want...
So, Ummm... My name is Marcel, I just decided to frequent this newsgroup and
I don't think I mind it. Ya'll are so cute.
Anyway, ummm... I'm in Montreal, got a daughter, doing graduate studies in
Buddhism and Continental Philosphy, living only with me and Dharma (my
daughter), got an unclean house, don't have the time or enegry to fix that,
Had 3 girlfriends last month, down to 1 now, wish I could party more often,
but don't actually care too much, doing the whole stream of consciousness
introduction thing, wondering if its working, hoping I get rave reviews,
knowing that its a rediculous thought.
Ok, back to structure. So. As I sit and type, I wonder 'why?' Mostly "why
can't I get going on this essay?" but also "the BIG why?". Actually that's a
lie. I know the big Why's answer: existence preceeds essense. But, shh...
don't tell anyone. I think my dad just sent me a joke over e-mail. Hmmm...
Ok, I guess I didn't go back to structure. *shrug* what can you do?
This is probably the right place for stream of consciousness writing, and I
hope you all realize that this is the first time that I have really done any
newsgroup introductions or the like. Anyway.
Got questions? Yeah, that'll work well. I'll come back on later tonight and
answer questions. Although, I doubt any of this is interesting enough for
anyone to want to inquire further about me, but its worth a shot. :-) By the
way, I take nothing seriously, least of which myself. Take everything I say
with a big hunk of salt.

Ummm... it seems that since I just recently formatted my harddrive I had
forgotten to change the time on my computer to Eastern time. So, for any of
you who are running around frantically, wondering what happened to the last
4 hours, be consoled. It was all representation. Discourse was your
downfall! And, If you didn't notice, well you dodged a bullet. But, just
imagine if it wasn't a mistake, and in reality (since time is relative) time
for me in the Eastern Time zone had catapulted forward leaving you in the
dust. Imagine, if you kept loosing time. I grew old, ate, slept, fucked,
learnt, and was reborn, all in the time it took you to click your mouse!
Savour what you have, for the roles could be reversed any day now.... You
just watch out.

Thanks for calling me a great guy... *wipes tear* seriously..., did I
mention that you were cute? *sniffle* :-)
My daughter is 21 months old, and I nub her to death. She is sooo cute, she
dressed up as a bunny for halloween. I didn't see her dressed up though, as
I had too much Sanskrit homework, but her mommy said she had fun.
3 girlfriends... It wasn't too bad. One moved to France, and the other
didn't seem interested anymore. *shrug* When everyone is swingin' then its
just a matter of having fun with who you're with I guess.
