I was just thinking about it in the tram and can only say that Michael is
pathetic, and seeks for publicity. In the video Eminem is doing the
immitation of Michael, nothing else. He should sue all the other people who
are impersonating him then, including on birthdays and shows.

Where is your society going? What is gonna happen next? Dave Chapelle will
lose his job or something? Pathetic.

ahh Lana, come one now as a Lawyer-to-be you can't see it? They can easily
argue against the scenes in which he is dressed like Jacko with the kids on
his bed hints that he touched those kids especially in a presently open
court case and can cause bias as it's being broadcast to the world.

btw, our society is going to hell...but that's a different topic.

Honestly though, if Mike wanted to touch little boys he should have bought
an independent island that was a country unto itself and not made it illegal
or just become a Catholic priest...oooh!

Hints is the word. Everything can be put in court with a little brains, but
that is exactly why I'm so concerned.

I'm concerned cos some of the people here started this trend to sue for
every little thing. Of course, the judicial system wasn't too happy about
it, and we have been learning since the first year of Uni the differences
about the two systems, and why ours is better. I don't honestly know which
one is better, but I sure see the flaws in both of them. Your flaw shows on
this topic and our flaw is slowness. A big flaw.

Actually, Dice lost it when he blatantly disregarded MTV when he presented
for their awards show and he just went off with the foul language LIVE even
after he was told not to. MTV banned him for life from their network and
somehow his whole career just vanished. haha

Dice was funny as all fucking hell!!!! Dammit I first saw his standup on HBO
and it made me laugh so hard I drooled all over the living room carpet.

Bullshit, Chris Rock will name names but it's not on a heavy rotated music
video backed up with lyrics and visual representation and he's also a
comedian..it's what they do so people kinda of pass it off.

Also, did you ever consider that Em did this on purpose to some degree? He's
made a career and eaten off of being controversial and dissing pop stars.
It's his M.O. I'm sure the extra news stories and conversations about the Em
and Mike video dispute isn't going to do anything but peak more interest in
the song. "Why is Mike mad? Oooh I've got to hear this song now". I'm sure
the labels lawyers mentioned something about the possibility of controversy
to Em prior to shooting the video and he probably grinned his ass off and
will continue to do it all the way to the bank.

If it doesn't get pulled completely then Em still gets his video to run and
still gets the extra coverage from the news agencies that wouldn't have run
a story about the release of a new Eminem album but will run the story about
Mike vs Em in court of a video of a single from that new album...that's
gold.

If it does get pulled then the news agencies will cover it also as well as
now the video is taboo and goes "underground" on the net to all file
swappers across the planet as BANNED EMINEM VIDEO...that's gold as well.

Em wins either way.

LOL
He's away most of the time, read: long-distance, so I have every right to be
a naggin' byatch, unlike y'all!
;)
Going to see him in 2-3 weeks.
New model? Interesting, tell me things....

Isn't it funny how in most other countries when comparing
political/economic/social issues the US is always used as a "case study"? I
think it is important to also see the positive sides and consider the
historical background.

And includes something in the video that doesn't actually have anything to
do with the song...

Aah, it was only a joke. Compared to what my girlfriends are going through,
I have the best man in the world, and am jealously keeping him.

Does that mean long-distance relationships get harder the older you get?
