1. Public Service Announcement (0:24)--Basically an intro with Eminem telling
his usual I don't give a fuck what you think type message
2. Kill You (4:23) Eminem talks about how he "is going to fucking kill you" in
a rather basic and uninspired chorous he kind of laughs while saying "I'll
fucking kill you" obviously implying that you shouldn't take him seriouslly,
that its just a song...Wasn't really feeling the production on this track
either....Eminem does rip it with the delivery and lyrics though so that saves
the track some...He seems to be ripping it better on the tracks these days as
compared to the slim-shady LP (those who may have heard his bad ass verse on
Biggies last album and "The if I get locked up tonight" song from the last
funkflex album will know what I'm talking about) ....Still I feel that I won't
be listening to this song off the album very much....
3. Stan (6:42) --Great use of Production to establish the certain mood of this
track....Dido sings the vocal in this song...I usually don't like someone
singing in a rap track but it works here....Anyway I feel this track has a very
creative idea...Stan is a crazy obsessed fan of Eminem's and most of the song
is rapped from his point his point of view......I would say more about this
song but I don't won't to give away too much......dope track
4. Paul (0:09)--Very Short Skit.....some guys leaves a message on em's
answering machine...he's so shocked by the new album that he can't really say
do much but sigh and then say fuck it and hang-up
5. Who Knew (3:46)---I hardly ever like a chorous in a rap song....and I have
never liked the chorous in an Eminem song...Here he kind of semi-sings the
chorous...ughhh.....if you can get passed this part though the song is pretty
good....He talks about how people blame him for being a bad influence on their
kids and then points out how hypocritical that is by pointing out some of the
fucked up shit they themselves do to their kids and also how other people have
bad effects for example: He talks about how parents blame him for teaching his
kids to curse and then says something to the effect like "Shit I learned to cus
from my school bus driver" or some shit.....In essence he is saying don't blame
me blame society...Pretty good song
6. Steve Berman (0:52)--Another skit.....Same idea as the "Paul" skit....just
another person upset about the harshness of the new album.
7. The Way I Am (4:48)---Oh yeah I'm feeling this track a lot.....Lots of
energy from a pissed off eminem, with production from Dr. Dre (the others may
have been Dre produced but I don't know I only know in this song cuz Em says
"Dre just let it run" at the begining) with a wicked piano loop that fits the
flow and energy of eminem perfectly here..........Another don't blame me blame
society type track but better than "Who Knew".....I will definitely be
listening to this track more in the future.
8. The Real Slim Shady (4:43)--By now you've probably already heard this song
and formed your own opinion but here goes mine anyway....This song has an
extremely annoying chorous....I can tolerate Eminem's voice when he is rapping
but when he does the chorous in songs his voice changes and get extremely
annoying and when he sings as in this song I get nausous....The way he sings
the chorous I'm pretty sure was bitten from an older rap song that went "Ain't
no party like a swisha sweet party" which I think was bitten from another song
as well....I don't really like the production in this song either....it sounds
like some shit you would hear on a fucking Carousal in an amusement park or
some shit.......I also don't like it when Eminem does other character voices in
his songs like the girls saying he is cute...or the jiga jiga slim shady...or
the my bum is on your lips....shits annoying...but anyway if you can get passed
all that he does rip the track pretty good....I also like the disses he does on
people...pretty funny.....Either way this is gonna be a song that gets old real
quick and played out on MTV...I personally think he made this song for the MTV
crowd to boost sales just like that "Hi my name is" song from his other
album...
9. Remember me? (3:37)--Lots of energy in this song...thats not suprising when
you consider that RBX and Sticky drop by to spit a verse....Great production on
here....I'm not really sure what to say about this song....its just one of
those songs that are dope and you can't really put your finger on why exactly
it is....It definitely has a unique sound to it...maybe that's why...I love
shit that sounds different from anything else....the bass in this bumps very
nicely in this song, definite head nodder.....I would bet everything I had that
this song was produced by Dre....No annoying chorous on here
either......Definitely a dope song
10. I'm Back (5:08)--....The chorous is very basic but tolerable, although I
feel its unecessary....Average song....Hmm can't think of anything else to say
11. Marshall Mathers (5:19)--Good production on here....Em rips it as usual and
disses many people (nsync, Jennifer Lopez, Puffy, Vanilla Ice, Christina
Aguilara (or however you spell it), NKOTB, underground head that don't him like
anymore cuz they think he turned pop, his family, XXL magazine...etc..) He
also responds to ICP who did that song (which I haven't heard yet myself)
called Slim Anus--"Slim anus??...you damn right slim anus, I don't get fucked
in mine like you two little flaming faggots"....Lots of laughs in this
song......Oh yeah its dope by the way
12. Ken Kaniff (1:00)--skit....Another ICP diss....I'll let you figure it out
when you hear it
13. Drug Ballad (4:58)--This song talks about duhhhhhh I'm sure you already
guessed it....Nothing really impressive about the production on here....I don't
think I will be listening to this song very much..... this song kinda reminded
me of the "I didn't mean to give you mushrooms girl" song from his last album
which I really wasn't feeling......
14. Amityville (4:13)-- Strange song...D-12 drops by to drop an unimpressive
verse and Eminem doesn't seem to be in top form here either.....production
isn't very impressive here either..
15. Bitch Please II (4:46)--Feeling this shit to the full....Production from
Dre.....Dre, Snoop, Xzibit, and Eminem drop verses.....Snoops verse is kinda
weak but the others come proper especially Xzibit and Eminem but hey what did
you expect??...Eminem almost seems to be making fun of Snoops verse on here
when he starts with his verse sounding like snoop...and then unleashes a
old-fashioned track whupping with a bunch of multi's and cadence changes....the
contrast between how he starts the track sounding like snoop and then ripping
the track into the next dimension really shows why he has superior skills
compared to most mc's out there (although personally I like Xzibit better than
Eminem)......very dope track....Better than the first Bitch Please from Chronic
2001 in my opinion...
16. Kim (6:16)--Ughh....Eminem starts off talking baby talk to his
daughter...luckily it only lasts a few second.... though it does serve to
establish the contrast in emotion when he yells "Shut up Bitch!!!!" in a pissed
off shout to Kim.....This is about the most pissed off Eminem has ever sounded
on a track.......Very Good Production helps to establish the mood of this
track....Some might be shocked by this song but its no worse than anything you
will see on TV.....Basically Eminem kills his wife in a homicidal rampage.....I
like it better than that Bonnie and Clyde track which had a similiar
theme.....I didn't like the production or the annoying ass baby talk in Bonnie
n' Clyde....Here he only does that at the begining of the song so its
tolerable......I had heard this song before and this is about the 5th time I've
heard it and it still sounds very good to me which means its probably pretty
dope
17. Under the Influence (5:20)--This song has a bunch of rappers on here....1st
verse by Eminem is good, 2nd verse by a cat I don't recognize is pretty good,
3rd verse is wack by D-12 whom I now consider wack as fuck judging from this
verse and his verse on Amityville, 4th verse by a cat I don't know is better
than D-12 which isn't really saying much, 5th verse unknown well its better
than D12's, 6th verse unknown better than d12...this song could have been
better if Eminem didn't have these wack cats on it...
18. Criminal (5:17)--I'm tired of typing....lets just say this song its pretty
dope.....
Final Verdict:I don't sum up albums with numbers or mics....but I'll be buying
this shit when it comes out next tues. cuz its has a lot of dope songs which I
think more than make up for the few misses he had..

peace...
a few misses? i only counted 6 or 7 songs that you gave a positive review of,
out of 18.
"i hate hoes, hoes hate me"
"after I lay the D on em, I don't want em"

Yeah I guess your right now that I go back and look what I typed... there were
4 skits on there so...18-4...leaves 14....I count about 8 songs that were
average or above...so 14-8= 6 misses with 8 solid tracks.....not the best
results but 8 solid tracks is enough for me to usually buy an album...guess it
just depends on what you think 13-18 bucks is worth in terms of musical
value....
Based on some of the reviews I've seen from other web sites, this album is
going to be overated just like Chronic 2001 was (in my opinion anyway)....but I
still feel it is worth the money...
