It started when Budden was supposed to open up for the Roc the Mic tour and 50
lobbied to have him removed, claming Budden wasn't a "big enough name." Budden
made it known that he disapproved of 50's actions, and 50 retaliated by stating
in the Source (or maybe XXL?) that Joe Budden was a weak MC (he picked on the
song "Focus" where he said "We pump diesel, and I don't mean jeans or sneakers"
was a weak line). Someone then asked Joe Budden on his website when he was
going to do a collabo with 50, and his response was, "February 30." Budden
then went on to respond to 50's wackness accusations on a mixtape, explaining
his "diesel" line and adding "What good is a bomb proof Jeep if you gotta get
out of it?" for good measure.

Man these cats be beefing over dumbshit nowadays. But I truly doubt it had
anything to do with Fifty. Probably some local beef in New Jersey. What the
hell you gonna try to shoot a nigga over some cat you picked on? Stupid.
