personally i like 2pac better, but you just can't compare someone with
7 official albums (including thug life) including countless bootlegs,
unreleased songs, etc. with someone who only has 2 albums.

I just want everyone who feels like being a part of this pole, to leave
there opinion on who's got better music: 2Pac or Notorious B.I.G.

I say 2Pac, because his cd All eyes on me, had better tracks than
Biggie's Life after Death. And Makaveli was da bomb!
Let me know if you agree with me or what.

Yes you can....Pac made Biggie. I doubt Biggie would have gotten better with
time....he's with Puff. His music would have gotten more commericial and water
downed. Pac lost some innocence as he got deeper in. In the early days he
could really make you feel him, but in the end he juss dissed anyone who fucked
with hiim, and those songs made me feel differently too. I would still prefer
now him to talk bout the issues in society or some of his deep songs again.
Biggie probably would continue his raps bout Frank Wright and Benjamins.

Tupac's music was way better, no doubt. The only shit worth mentioning about
Biggie was Ready to Die, great album track by track, but two albums...and Life
After Death was a double CD joke with only a couple hot tracks on both
discs....tupac had 7 albums, all of them hot as hell....tupac was by far the
better artist

Biggie had the better music if you ask me. I can't wait for the nasty e-mails
I get from this bold statement of my opinion but far beyond the Cristal and
Benjamins that Biggie talked about he had a message in his music (and it wasn't
just about sellin D). If you are a rapper that is looking for a deal in any
form......at all......you have to be able to feel "Juicy". Biggie encapsulated
the life of an unsigned artist and weaved tales of how his life was before he
got on in the game. His collaboration with Bone on "Notorious Thugs" was much
better than "Thug Luv" anyday if you ask me. Yes I do like 2Pac too and I have
his CDs but when he turned to dissing people he lost all respect from me.
STRICTLY 4 MY N.I.G.G.A.Z. and 2Pacalypse Now were the albums I really enjoyed
from 2Pac. Buf in a head to head.....I give my vote to Biggie.

It's true that many people were turned away from Pac after his diss songs, but
U did not go through what he went through the people involved, so it is not
fair to judge him in that manner. Moreover he did no just go out and randomly
attack people, when he did something, he did it for a reason... if Pac is
guilty of anything, it is simply being blatant, and not hiding your disses like
Mobb Deep, Biggie, etc... (I know that people may argue that the East Coast
style of dissing is never mentioning a rappers name, but take Canibus vs. LL
for expample~U can tell clearly who the music's about, for the "accused" they
continue to diss Pac all the more subtle and hidden so that the more hard core
fans will notice, but on a commercial level, they can still continue to pretend
to be more noble and show love to Pac). I admit that Pacs diss music was kind
of on a tangent, especially in regards to all his untapped talent, but trust
me, he has A LOT of positive, good unreleased music yet to be heard (this
unreleased music is NOT on the widespread Tupac bootlegs) where he is on point
and not caught up in his feuding. Juicy does emulate some emotions, but Big
has really fallen off in his more recent work, in almost all of Pacs songs on
the other hand, U can really feel what he is feeling, from pleasure to pain, to
straight rage to songs pleading for change in society and more... As U can
see... Unconditional Love for Pac.

You know I'm into my east so originally I would have picked Biggie but
seeing how much Pac contributed to the scene in terms of albums and other
artistic works (ie:poetry) I'd have to give it up for him. Pac all the
way. Sorry Biggie.

didn't make you feel anything.

I don't know why people say this. Is it becuase pac put biggie on??? If so
would you say Digital Underground made pac. Some people have said "biggie
copied pacs style". Anyone who says this has not heard both of them, besides
wasnt pac on the Me Against the world, im gettin ready to go to prison
phase(which i feel was when he put out his best work). Ive heard "bggie took
the idea for his album ready to die from pac", i never felt like responding
because pac was not the first person in the world to talk about death so that
reason just seemed like bullshit. So maybe you can give me your reasons why
pac made big.

No doubt, Biggie didn't make me feel shit on Life After Death. On Ready to Die
you could feel what he was saying and you could understand why he called
himself worthless...Life After Death was just something to bob your head too.
And as far as Thug Luv better a worse song than Notorious Thugs, I don't agree.
Notorious Thugs was a commercial rap song...tupac even states in Thug
Luv.."Heard the last jam niggah, this one's worse." I think he was saying, you
heard Notorious Thugs, well fuck that, this jam is tighter and straight up
gangsta rap. Thug Luv gets my vote, and I still hold strong saying that Tupac
was by far the better artist.

Peace

Again let pac speak:

"I possess Biggie's soul. His and Puffy's. They know I was the truest nigga
involved in Biggie's success. I don't write his rhymes but he knows how much he
borrowed from me. He knows how I used to stop my shows and let him blow up.
How i used to share my experience, my lessons, my rules and my knowledge on the
game with him. He owed me more than to turn his head and act like he didn't
know niggas was about to blow my fucking head off. He knew, and that's cool if
he disappeared and be a fucking mouse. But for me to know that three weeks
later your album's coming out, and you're a fucking don in your album, but you
don't know who shot me in your hometown, these niggas from your neighbourhood.
And I gotta find out for myself and I don't even call myself a don, I'm a just
a capo from the west side and I'm on the east side in jail and I know who
touched me, and I know everything that happened, and he didn't know so he was
faking. I was mad about that. And then I'm outta jail and I couldn't believe
that everybody was treating Biggie like the biggest fucking star in the world.
I couldn't believe that people were buying into the playa image, and I just
wanted to bring back that reality. Well, Biggie is not a playa, he's never
been, he's never had bitches until he had some fucking money. That's a trick,
that's not a playa, that's not a poppa. So my point was to prove him wrong, and
I took everything
that he glamorised it and I personified "

The funniest shit is the playa part, it dont matter if you fat or whatever it's
the fact that if you aint got NO GAME you juss dont have it and try to pretend
to have it by talkin bout it and having ho's around u to try to prove it.

I am from the Eastside, but I gotta say that 2pac is the better Rapper, sorry 2
Betray my side, but I speak thE truth. I really wish that Pac never started
with biggie though, because when they rapped together, it was off the hook,
anyone ever hear the freestyle with biggie smalls and 2pac, what about "runnin"
(Which I must say Trapp REALLY Fucked up by adding his lesbian-ass voice in and
tryin to make a dolla on that bullshit which I wish I never bought)? I mean,
you can't deny that, when 2pac and Biggie smalls rap together, they can't be
seen, touched, or challenged, they are above the rest. Now I am not taking
anything away from either of them, 2pacs dis songs(even though you guys feel
they weren't good) I think were 2pacs best material, and Who shot ya, well,
phat song, but Had no dis to it, in my mind, "Brooklyn's Finest" with Jay z in
it was a bigger dis that "WHO shot Ya".

"If Faith had twins she'd probably have 2 pacs(ha ha ha ha ha ha)" Unquote.

Now that one line there is a bigger dis the who shot ya, the entire song. Now
back to tupac, in his dis songs which I will not name, you really feel him, and
to be honest, rap is more entertaining with harsh remarks to other rappers,
instead of hering about the usual shit, money, hoes and clothers. Now I also
must add that 2pac got the outlawz on his side, but biggie got puffy and Lil
Kim on his side. In the Bootleg "big momma thang" she says in the end "oooh
yeah who shot ya? Who knows what they got-ya, Fed up? wet up? maybe next time
yo punk ass will keep ya head up" Now that was tight. I like dis songs more
than the usual, but back to the question, 2pac is over biggie, superior to
biggie, a better disser than biggie, better than biggie.,

P.S. if anyone has the bootleg song to little kim's "big Momma thang" I could
use it in mp3 or real audio, PLEASE email me if you a web page with that song
on it, thanks. Peace(sorry this message was so long, but I gotta express how I
feel"

I agree Big Momma Thang was a good diss song, as was Brooklyn's Finest, but
when it came to comebacks...no was better than tupac. I am glad the fued
started...Tupac just exposed Biggie as the fake playa that he is and Biggie
never opened his mouth to tell pac what was up. All Biggie said was that he
was bigger than all this shit talking that was going on, but he never denied
anything, except for the setup, and he didn't even like talking about that...
Tupac Shakur exposed Lil Kim in Hit Em Up, the whole Junior Mafia Crew, Puffy,
i mean come on, Makaveli just ripped Puff a new whole on that album.....Tupac
was on a whole other level

I don't know man, Biggie ripped 2pac up on 'Long Kiss Goodnight' without
even saying his name

"..heard through the grapevine, you got f##ked four times..."

"...when my men bust, you just move with such stamina
sluggs missed ya,I ain't mad atcha (we ain't mad atch'ya),blood rushin'
concusions ain't nuthin', catch cases come out frontin'
smokin' somethin'..."

"I'm flaming gatts,
aiming at
these f##king maniacs
put my names in raps,
what part the game is that
like they hustle backwards..."

etc....

It seemed like Big could have made a song at least as good (and explicit)
as Hit 'Em Up but he decide not to. Anyway, we'll never know.

To all the Pac jock riders, please get off the man's organ already. Just
because someone likes Biggie more doesn't mean that they are inferior people or
don't know what "real hip hop is". And calling Biggie fat and other
unglamorizing names does nothing but prove you to be an immature individual.
BOTH 2Pac and Biggie left behind legends that will never die and I think that
it's time we respect both artists instead of mocking Biggie, jocking Pac, vice

Thank you for such an intelligent post. How enlightened I was when I was done
reading your lack of wisdom. I especially loved the way you resorted to old,
tasteless insults. That really showed off your immaturity in a new light.

Their is a reason that stuff wasn't released when he was alive.
And it is because it is just not as good as the stuff they had released on
the albums prior. Now.. Any album I have heard from 2pac does not
compare.. O.K. me against the world was a good album but none came close
to ready to die.. You gotz to be trippin if you don't think so.
Peace to Biggy and 2Pac

I agree with you, Anirban, partially at least. To me,
comparing Pac with Biggie seems very far away, as Pac made rap
and Biggie made pop intended for the mass market. Vast
difference there. Biggie would definitely not be considered a
legend if he had not been killed.

So because 2Pac told him about the game we're supposed to rush to 2Pac's side?
Biggie's the one that was born with the talent, 2Pac couldn't instill that in
him. Eazy E told Bone about the rap game so are we supposed to say that Eazy
is better than Bone? And because Bone wanted to leave Ruthless do we then say
that they're some bitches because of that? Bone told all the people on their
label about the game so are they less talented than Bone? Proteges in the rap
game have a long history. Biggie has the talent, not 2Pac. 2Pac may have told
him about the game but he didn't make the man.

WHY? I mean the man is dead, do you have to be that upset with him now? Do you
have to belittle the fans of his music? Does that make you a better person or
make you feel superior in some way? And then you say " dont give OmegaXL shit

aren't as good as the old ones. they were all the unrealeased stuff from the
early 90s. Makaveli 2 is a double cd that's gonna be his more recent stuff
unreleased. Even though r u still down isn't as good as the other it's still
pretty phat. R U Still Down, Open Fire, Fuck All Ya'll, and I wonder if heaven

Let me get this straight. So are you saying that Biggie has talent
and 2Pac doesn't. That's some funny shit , cause if Biggie had so
much talent then how come he only put out 2 CD's while 2Pac released 5
himself including Thug Life, 8 altogether including those released
after his death and a whole lot more songs yet to be released. I'll
tell you why. Cuse Pac was a workaholic who knew what he wanted to
achieve in his carrer when Biggie was as lazy as fuck. I mean the
CD's that Biggie released were exactly like 2Pac's. Ready 2 Die sound
so much like Pac's style and then he went and copied more by releasing
a double album just like 2Pac's All Eyez On Me. As a matter of fact
ever since 2Pac came out with that album everyone started releasing
double albums. It seems that in the recent years anything that 2Pac
dfid everyone wanted to do. Anywayz back to the subject. I can see
your point of view but I don't agree what so ever with you saying that
Biggie has the talent not 2Pac.

Hey Omega I have no quarrrel with you. That's wrong, I have said many times I
liked Biggie's music, but I didnt respect him. And you are wrong about me
dissin people when they say they like Biggie. I saw this man who liked Biggie
and me and him had a chat on here and I didnt even diss him. To tell you the
truth, I get angry when fools come on here saying stupid shit like "Puffy
rules, Westside sux." U know I aint from the West or nuttin or any side
choosing, but its stupid shit. And most of that shit is Biggie "nut-riders."
You have a valid point about me being a Pac dick rider. It doesn't really
bother me. Its just makes me a true fan, but hopefully not a blind fan. If I
said "Pac didnt shoot that man" and they have a video showing Pac shootin that
man then you got a good reason to diss me. I see what you are sayin and it
was my badd, I didnt mean to say you couldnt say shit or have a voice. No

The sad thing is, both of them are dead.(?) I could never stop loving 2
pac or Biggie. I feel Pac had been able to do more than Big becouse he'd
been out longer.(publicly) Big had much talent. He was very gifted and
funny. I believe the beef with most people at this point is most people
don't like Puffy so the don't like BIG. But if I had to rate them I'd
have to say lyricly Pac #1, Biggie #2 but climbing. It's sad Pac died
early. He was headed for doom. His lifestyle attractced trouble(even if
it wasn't his personality). He maybe could have had a chance to clean
his image up.Big didn't really have an image poblem and probably could

The way I see it, they were both fresh, period. Production is nothing because
they both had banging production. Pac could tell better stories and seem to
have more of a range of knowledge about world situations, yet Biggie was the
lyrical wizard, he could flip anything and it was fresh. Why argue over them
when they were both equally as fresh?

Exactly, I agree that both 2Pac and Biggie are tremendous losses to the music!
I hate it when someone just continually brings down Biggie or says something
bad about 2Pac. I understand that that's that person's opinion but what do you
get out of insulting a dead person? That's like Chino XL talkin about Eazy-E's
blood sample on his album or calling 2Pac "one nut" or calling Biggie "Fat
Piggie" or whatever. I just wish that we could let the dead rest in peace,
admire their talents and legacies and enjoy the music they left behind.

That's not true. Puffy didn't become popular (and hated) until after Biggie
died. Biggie was great, but puffy made a shitload of money off his death, and
I don't respect that, or the fact that he's a beat jacker.
