Aww, go on, pa-lease!!!!!!

Unfortunately, the Prince has grown up but is still acting like a kid...
I'm afraid he's had his day. Mind you, Jeff's still got what it takes...
now if he could find a way of disposing of the Prince...

Agreed about Run DMC (I've long felt they were overated somewhat)... but
NO WAY are Salt 'n' Pepa that bad! I think they're coming back on form
nowadays... anyway they don't take rap music VERY seriously, as they
frequently say themselves in interview, so maybe they can be excused...

My choice... LL Cool J... he considers himself God's gift to womankind,
and unfortunately this and his urge to brag and be hard has progressively
encroached into his music. I really like the "Radio" album, but his output
nowadays is SOOO predictable.

Would this have a beneficial effect on Kool Moe Dee's stuff, I wonder?

Alan.

I'm sorry to say Prince has a terminal case of whiteus mainstreamitis, but
he seems to be doing pretty well in TV land. His ultra-soft core style just
doesn't cut it anymore, at least not with me. As for "Summertime" being the
JAM personally it kind of grew on me but it wasn't all that; its like when
a sitcom uses a laugh track so much that you think the show is funny.

Run-Dmc seem to have been reduced to writing cute rhymes for Sesame
Street and public service announcements. I think its time for them to
put up or shut up, they need to find a new musical direction of career,
but get real Salt n' Pepa make some good jams, LL does too. My main beef
with LL is that he's a punk...straight up. He comes of like he's running
shit when in actuality, those who know him will agree, he usually running
away from shit. Besides that my girl sweats him too much.... He has a
few good jams on his "Mama said knock you out" CD but there is something
about him personally that rubs me the wrong way. So I agree when you say:
