Wassup?
I just pumped that today and I gotta say Dre sounds VERY good on "100
Miles and Runnin'". He sounded like a real emcee...
Peace

yeah i'd noticed that...dre seemed to peak as an mc right after ice cube left.
i wonder who wrote the lyrics for that and fuck the police part 2, he was
nice on both of those...even if he had good writtens i doubt he could flow
that well anymore

He has never sounded like that ever again. One of his best songs in his
career.

Which is probably why he kept rapping. I think Dre~ has finally
come to terms with the fact that he's not a terrible rapper. He's been
avoiding it for the longest time, but I think he accepts that his "mellow
accent" is interesting, if nothing else.

But you're right, Dre~ is pretty good on "100 Miles." Hell, he's
pretty good on "Express Yourself" too.

I don't totally agree or disagree. First of all, yeah, he's great
on "100 Miles," but his rhymes are quite bootylicious on "Efil4zaggin."
He gets good again up until "Been There, Done That," which is probably
the wackest song gettin' mad play today.
