breakup is official, for all those who don't know. But I hear that Derek,
whoops, I mean Sadat X and Lord J. both appear on Grand Puba's solo album.
Hopefully X and J will push on and put out there own shit, with Alamo
behind them. They can still flow, and if you ask me, Derek, I mean Sadat comes
off better than Maxwell. So they should still be able to get paid.
Also, anyone hear about what happened with BiZ? I saw something in the Globe
about him being sued for some sample on "Haircut" (knew he shoulda stuck to
producing). The judge listened to the songs in question and was so pissed
that I think he is gonna have the BiZ prosecuted criminally and shit. Also,
he ordered all copies removed from the shelves and permitted future sales of
the album until the matter is settled. Damn, Ain't that a bitch. Gotta
let em know the Devil's a conniver.
Anyway's, gotta jet back to Pittsburgh in a few hours. So peace out to the
Hip Hop Nation, and to all the perpetrators who subscribe to the group
but not the program. Watch your backs over the so-called "holidays."
