Listening to Public Enemy's first three albums, I'm struck by just how
little Griff actually seems to do on each. Here's some appearances I've
noticed; can anybody complete the list?

Takes a Nation:
Intro - "Armageddon been in effect" etc.
Caught, Can We Get a Witness? - "Yo, I can't believe they got the PE
up before the judge on some..."
"Ignorance is at an all time high..."
"Not this day or time, my brother."
Louder than a Bomb - "Professor Griff knows - Yo, I ain't no toast!"

Um, I'm sure I had more than that. Hmm. Perhaps someone can point out
lots more - if not, I suspect Griff sneaked into the studio some night
and recorded "Caught..." without anybody noticing!

Which reminds me: he has a new album out. Is it any good?

i don't think griff was around in the early days ("yo! bum rush..."),
but he appeared to be just a figurehead (like the s1w's)...kinda hypes up the
concerts and videos...BTW, i thought that was a british promoter introducing
p.e. in "countdown to armageddon"...

I seem to remember Griff being on the YBRTS album cover. Look for the
guy in the red beret.
Also, Griff did do some stuff in "Countdown to Armageddon that sounded
oddly like "Armageddon has been in effect, go get a late pass...step."

Well the single (forgot the name) is pretty damn mediocre...
