They sounded tight as fuck, actually. Aside from opening with the standard
live rap cliche shit. I mean, one step from "Throw your hands in the air".
But that only lasted for the first ten seconds or so.

I guess them being on Letterman settles the whole question of them being
underground any longer. Someone is giving them a serious push.

they deserve the push.. they've been putting out quality music for a while
now.. time for some good music to hit the masses... and to see these guys
live is a show that should not be missed..

J5's newest album is near-flawless.

Just saw it (we get it a day later in the UK). Letterman 'likes them guys'

Nice to hear/see a good performance from hip-hop artists full stop, never
mind a good performance from hip-hop artists on a show like Letterman having
gotten used to shitty shouted performances with no clarity from an artist
who acts as though he's glued to the spot. It is weird tho - for us UK cats,
it would be like having Mark B & Blade on Des O'Connor.

yeah Thin line is gonna be a big hit for them guys.. not just because Nelly
Furtado is on the track, but because the track is one of those joints that
alot of people can relate to.. not just hip hop heads, or thugs, but
everybody.. I can see a video for this one now and watch that shit be off
the hook.. I'm almost willing to bet that they will press that as the next
single and there will be a video for it that will get crazy spins...

This album is a must have in my opinion, but to each is own. I understand
your average Cage or El P listener may not like J5, but don't sleep just
because the content isn't the same as a Cage or El P.. J5 has some quality
ass music for real.. and some dope ass beats if nothing else..
