De La Soul show

Checked out the De La Soul show last night here in Pittsburgh.
All I can say was: that shit was hype.
Tuffy Tuff opened for them, and I will definitely buy their tape when it
comes out in a few weeks. They were a lot harder than the Soul, and had
an early Public Enemy (Yo...) sound to them. Their hard rhymes were
goin' on and were not slowin' down until their set ended. Then They
started. Mase was workin the tables while that part from "Bitties.."
that goes "Maseo what goes on Maseo what goes on..." was playing.
Trugoy comes on and started rappin, then Plug One began his part. They
did mostly De La Soul is Dead tunes, and a few 3 feet high and Rising
ones like "Potholes," "Me, Myself, and I," "Eye Know,""Say No Go," and a
hype version of "Do as De La Does." They went on for about two and a
half hours and then invited everyone on the stage to dance while Plug
Three took down the tables.
I could talk about this show for a damn long time but I'll cut it short.
As I said, the shit was hype, especially in the small club it was at.
Anyone else seen the show, tell me what you thought.

I saw De La Soul in Melbourne (OZ) about 1-2 months ago and
was greatly dissapointed as were all the reviews in print I read ...
Man the show was BORING ... sorry but you gotta do more than go
'YO .. everybody in the house say YEAH' these days. With their
latest album, it's no use having 5 good songs and 20 odd bits
of shit... it's just not listenable from start to finish ...
DE LA SOUL Down Under is DEAD!!
