Mr.Gerbick aka Dr.Octagon aka Kool Keith

Earlier I asked when Mr.Gerbick was coming out and by that I ment his
album. I don't know why you (Andy Garcia) think that Ol' Dirty is Mr.Gerbick, or was it
a joke or something? Mr.Gerbick is the uncle of Dr.Octagon (both Kool Keith).
If there are more people who have the album of Dr.Octagon (it's a great
album by the way)let me know what you think about it. As I was saying Mr.Gerbick
already performed on the Dr.Octagon album (that song is also great).
On the back of the cover you can read the message: ....Look out for Mr.Gerbick, so
that's why I want to know when he is coming out.

Sorry I got confused. One of the names used by ODB is Dirt Mcsomething
and I got that confused with Mr.Gerbick. I heard on the radio that ODB
is currently on Rikers. So when u asked when Gerbick was coming out, I
thought u were asking when ODB was going to be released. What I want
to know is why is ODB on Rikers in the first place. Sorry for any
confusion caused by those Wu-Bangers have so many names for
themselves!

Are you sure, I don't think that MR. Gerbik is Kool Keith, there were other rhymers on tha Octagon project

Sorry for all the confusion I confused Mr. Gerbick with ODB (aka Dirt
Megirt).
Just before I read your original post I heard ODB was on Riker's. So
when u asked when Mr.Gerbick was coming out I thought mistakenly you
were asking when ODB was coming out of prison...
Anyway
What is ODB on Riker's for in the first place?

There are two members of Doctor Octagon, Keith and Q-Bert. All
of those names on the back are jokes. This Mister Gerbick is likely also
Keith.

Mr. Gerbik is one of Kool Keith's characters. He has many different
identities that he rhymes under, such as Rhythm X, Big Willie Smith, Dr.
Octagon, Sinister 6000, and Mr. Gerbik. The only other MC to appear on the
Dr. Octagon LP is Menelik. He is featured on "No Awareness" (he's the one
who says, "ask Copernicus about pushing limits"). He has a rapid-fire flow
and sloppier pronunciation.

Mr. Gerbick is another pseudonym of keith's ...I don't know when he'll be
releasing his next album but it will be under the name of Mr. Gerbick.

I woulda thought shit was pretty simple... Kool Keith is Dr. Octagon,
one of his many aliases, all scratches are done by DJ Q-Bert. As for
the other mc off of tracks like Biology 101 and On Production, I dont
know his name.....but the credits list the 2nd Engineer as "Gordon
Chumway" which is Alf, and "Whoolio E. Glacias" as additional
vocals....on the cd (couldnt get the vinyl) it also reads 'The music
on this compact disc was originally recorded on thermo nuclear
387-bit, non linear tracking system dithered down to 20-bit compact
disc format. Because of it's high resolution however, limitations can
be heard in the compact disc format.' the "... Look out for Mr.
Gerbick" at the bottom of the track listings is just a hint of the
presence of tha additional track at the end of Waiting List...I just
took it as its NAME!....he's just phuken wid ya mind..................

Just for the record: Q-Bert is Q-Bert; D Nakamura is Dan, who produces stuff
with, variously, Keith, Kutmasta Kurt, Q-Bert, Peanutbutter Wolf, and pretty
soon Kev. (Shameless plug. . .watch for the Drum Freestyles Record). So to
sum up: Q-Bert is a talented DJ; Dan is a talented producer; no, they're not
the same person.
