Did anyone see or pick up "187 He Wrote"? I'm pretty sure it came
out, 'cause The Compact Disc Connection had a listing for it. I never
got his first one, but I liked 'A Trigga Gots no Heart' and wondering if
the new one is anything like it...

Yup, went to the store lookin fo KRS-1 but came with a one not KRS but,
Spice. I was about to get KRS until I saw Spice(Spice was also 2 bucks
less), and decided to get it because his first LP was a'ight and Nigga
Bot's No Heart was the phattest thing on the Menace Soundtrack. I
hadn't even heard "Dumpin um in Ditches," but decided to pick it up.
After a brief listen, just the first minute of each song, my diagnosis
much much promise, and definitely PHAT, I reccomend it, strongly. The
thing about him is he is able to mix the beats and lyrical styling on
the album. Though the raggamuffin track blew monsterly, the rest is
worth it. Also has anyone noticed how much ass Jive is going to kick,
mostly to Heiro, Dangerous Music, and Tribe, Jive is definitely "Sittin
on Something Phat."

Can anyone fill me in on the House of Pain video shown occasionally on
MTV called "Jump Around"? There's a dedication to a dead guy at the end
of the video: can givew me the details on this? Who is this person?
How did he die? Why is the video dedicated to this person?

Also any other info you can provide on this group would be appreciated.
Thanks.

The video is dedicated to Matt Champy. He was a member of House
Of Pain as well as relative to the lead vocalist. He was shot in
Boston. They are coming out with a new album in the new year. The
title is yet to be disclosed.

You're quite welcome.

I just found out that Danny-Boy is a former New Kid On The Block!
Is this true or just a rumor?

ha ha! He looks exactly like Donnie Wahlberg (older brother of Markie
Mark) who was in the NK'sOTB, but he's not. The Danny in New Kids
was much, much uglier. Sorry, it's just a rumor.

yeah, I realize I just admitted to the world my expertise on the
New Kids....

Expertise? You didn't say anything I didn't know...

I saw house of Pain in Chi-town. I thought they sucked, it was like
watching a concert video, didn't move the crowd much(Except for Who's
the Man, I have to admit that was a good job). They said that they
wanted the album to come out in November, but the record company was
fuckin wit em, so he had everyone in the crowd give a middle finger.
They performed some new songs, but all sounded like put on your shit
kickers and kick some shit.

Furthermore, the song mentions, "Yo! This is dedicated to Joe "The Bird"
Nicolo."

I think you mean Joe "the Butcher" Nicolo... he does the mix-down for a lot
of Hip-Hop albums - like Cypress, NWA, etc.. and also produced the Goats...

So Matt Champy is "Konish"? Everlast mentions him in the video for "I
got the knack".
