As a subscriber to several newsgroups related to railways in the UK I
find the use of jargon extremely restricting and downright confusing. I
am a rail enthusiast of advancing years, not a railway employee or
expert so the following is total gobbly-gook, I have made educated
guesses at some which I have amended to the original text. I accept
the limitations of texting and, from the content of some messages,
appreciate that some of you may be posting whilst at your places of
work. But, PLEASE spare a thought for us lesser mortals ........
