The Business Briefs in this morning's newspaper report
in a story out of Boise that Washington Group International
has "severe near-term liquidity problems that may cause it
to seek bankruptcy protection."

The Washington Group International is described as
an engineering and construction firm. Isn't that the
same Washington that owns Montana Rail Link and IMRL?

FYI, here is a link to the press release from Washington Group International
Investor Relations.

However, in the Montana Rail Link / Washington Companies Media Room, there
is the following statement, dated March 2, 2001: "The Washington Group
International's liquidity problems have no impact on the privately held
Washington Companies."
