About The "Hope" Thingy

Someone here, from time to time, goes on about the 'hope' thing that
Obama suggested in '08 (and he knows who he is) and, after today's
haps, I'm going to get on that 'Hope" bandwagon with both feet.

While I'm not a religious person, I am going to spend some
considerable time in a sacred place praying that The Donald runs for
and wins the Republican nomination for president. Oh, God...I hope he
does!

Speaking of fruitloops, the People of Corn, Iowans, are considering a
law making it illegal to photograph farm animals without the farmer's
permission. What are they trying to hide? Do Iowa farms have really
famous animals like Miss Piggy and Babe and this law just seeks to
protect them from paparazzi?

And while we're at it, when do you think Hawaii is going to come up
with proof that it really is a state? I don't mean the short form
that has been floating about since the last century, I mean the long
form. And how do we know that is not a fake. I mean just because
there were newspaper announcements about the joining that is not
proof...it might have been just a leap of imagination. Who knows?

Then there is the issue, brought up on Huff Post, about when The
Donald is going to provide proof that he is a shith**d? I mean here
is a guy that bankrupted a casino! A casino....a place that has the
edge on every bet placed.
How do you do that?

Then what about the Higgs boson and let's also talk about gluons and
maybe even medicare.

So many questions....so litle time.

Fortunately, the voting public woke up in 2010 and realized that they
shouldn't go to the polls and put someone in office based solely on charming
rhetoric. You can pursue your "hope thingy" all you want, however the
reality is that with $5 gas on the horizon and the administration blocking
new drilling, the economy in shambles, the rest of the world abandoning the
dollar and China being our "landlord", your mutt is most likely toast in
2012. Your best bet is to focus on such liberal opiates as Palin, Beck,
Trump, Limbaugh , birthers, etc between now and election day - it will ease
your political pain.

Obama would win the Democratic nomination for the same reasons you want
