She filed a copyright lawsuit. The copyright was based on the
FACT that the pictures showed her (naked) image.
She realized that she had several things in common with Bill Clinton.
1. She committed adultery.
2. She lied (having stated that "It wasn't me").
Like I said, she's smart. Had she pursued the copyright lawsuit,
Laura would have had to admit both (a) it was her in the pictures
(that's the only way to defend her claim of copyright) and (b) she
lied to her listeners when she said "It wasn't me."
Bottom line: The pictures ARE her and were taken while she was having
an adulterous affair.

What REALLY happened: The "Pics" Hoax was cooked up between Bill Ballance and a
Shock-Jock named Tom Leykis in Los Angeles and Seth Wsomethingorother of I.E.G.
in Seattle and was designed to boost Leykis' sagging ratings AND MAKE I.E.G. a
few bucks.........Ballance "claimed" to have pics of Dr. Laura nude, but there
were NEVER 12 in any case...........For every person on earth there are at
least 200 lookalikes, and probably 50 DEAD RINGERS.........So a "collection"
was assembled comprised of Lookalikes, many taken off the web....Some were
OBVIOUSLY altered, to match the contrived catchy phrase
"The Dirty Dozen" invented by Leykis......Using Fake Pics protected Leykis et
al from being sued for Defamation..........The FIRST public statement by Dr.
Laura's Spokesperson was: "They're Fakes".......And that Statement WAS
Accurate......Dr. Laura's Lawyers developed a Strategy: Sue for Copyright which
would cause I.E.G. to have to admit the "pics" were FAKES in defense of the
suit.......The idea was that Sensational Allegations are almost impossible to
erase WIN OR LOSE and the best way to erase them is to force the Accuser to
admit the allegations were FALSE.........Since I.E.G. released the pics on the
web, they circulated like wildfire, and the Judge declared the Injunction Suit
MOOT because "Widespread Circulation Had Already Occurred".........Since Dr.
Laura had no other way to force I.E.G. to admit the "pics" were Fakes, there
was little to gain from that Suit........The decision was made to let the
subject die, since there was NO PROOF aside from the "Claims" of a Broken-Down
80 year old Vindictive Man.......It was just His word against Hers.......NO
person such as Dr. Laura's Mother, Sister or Ex-Husband has EVER Verified
Identity in any of the
"Pics".......NADA.......ZIP......ZERO........NOTHING.......Dr. Laura herself
has NEVER admitted any of the "pics" were really of her........Read back over
her "Statements".........I.E.G. eventually sold the "pics" collection to Larry
Flynt for a paltry sum and Flynt LOST MONEY publishing them..........There were
NEVER any two "collections" alike on the web.......They were ALL
different.........Myself, I have over 23+ "Dr. Laura Pics" from the
web.......And there were only supposed to be 12.........For each "pic" on the
original Clublove Site, I have a second "pic", showing the SAME girl in a
slightly different pose where she DOESN'T look like Dr. Laura at all........The
"Dr. Laura Pics Hoax" DIED in the second week, and is only kept alive by a few
Rabid Morons with a "cause"........It NEVER hurt Dr. Laura, in fact, it
ENHANCED her image in today's public........

Face it. Dr. Laura will not deny that those pictures are of her. She
tried that once and had to back down.
You cannot file copyright infringement on pictures unless they're
