I have been scanning for over 20 years in and around the Los Angeles
area. But took off about 4 years, I recently returned to find out that
the LAPD frequencies went digital on me.
My question to any scanner nut, like myself is....What the
frequencies for the LAPD all of you are listening to? OR
Point me in the direction of a website that would tell me a good
set-up for my scanner.
thanx in advance,
Mike
LAPD is also reported to still be using several of their long-held VHF
frequencies for surveillance and stuff; so you might try 155.31, 154.77,
154.995, 154.965, 154.785.
The five former "dispatch" pairs, (159.15, 158.91 etc) which became the MDT
frequencies, are now going to Ventura County.
I'd be interested in what you come up with. Uniden's digital-capable
scanners are supposedly due in late 2002...probably more like early 2003.
