I have a Bearcat 200xlt hand scanner that will not turn on. I have in
the past had a problem with it powering up, but usually after turning
the power switch on and off a few times it did come on. Now it will
not come on at all. After charging the battery, the voltage shows
good, but there must be a transister or capacitor or something that
has gone bad. Has anyone else out there had the same problem? Do I
need to find a good repairman or is is something I can fix? Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I don't have the wiring
diagram and only the users manual.

Sounds like the switch may be bad!
