What does 11-44 Code mean

Many 10- and 11-codes are regional and don't mean
have the same meaning outside an area.

Here is San Diego it's a coroner's case.

In Lake County, Illinois, it means "servicing the squad", usually putting
gas in it at the highway dept., or public works facility.

Missed the orginal post so I'm not sure what part of the World we are
talking about. In San Diego County Califronia it means "coroners case",
dead body. For the CHP (California Highway Patrol ) it means "Possible
Fatality".

In Sacramento, an 11-44 is a call for the coroner as well.
