| Our WalMart is also on 151.625
Also check out 154.60 and 154.57. I worked for them when I was in college
and carried one of their radios. It was either a Motorola PC10, Jobcom, or
a Motorola Radius, depending on what was available when I started my shift.
The PC10 are dip switch programmable for about 4 or 5 freqs, including the
two that I mentioned above, 151.955, and another VHF (15X.XXX) channel, but
I forget what it was. Our store was supposed to use the 154.57 channel, but
we'd frequently change it to something else, seeing as how the Hardee's
store across the street used the same channel, and neither of us used PL
tones. As for the content, well, yes, it would be pretty boring listening.
Loss prevention can be pretty interesting at times, but, aside from that,
it's just your usual dept. store chit-chat.
To me it is kinda lame but my wife used to work for them and knows what their
little code means. Kinda like having a 10 code sheet for the safety
frequencies. Plus you get to hear all the remarks they make about the
customers. "READ THE WORD CUSTOMER AS YOU" Then you can understand why
sometimes it's fun to listen in at Wally World!

I bet that made it easy for you guys to order dinner... ;-)
This site has a lot of freq's for Walmart listed with States too.
