HELP ME PLEASE

I own an Alinco DJ-560 which is a pretty useful piece of equipment, now I
want to know if anyone out there has a manual for this
Scanning equipment if so drop me a reply on alt.radio.scanner.uk I will
appriciate that.

Now for those of you in alt.????hack???? who are wondering why I've posted
this on your NG here it is,
I need to know how to interface my scanner with the serial port on my
machine
purpose simply to monitor data transmissions on some channels which I have
tracked down.

I simply need the schematics or the theory between taking what we all know
as data in an audio format and
processing it into rs232 so that software such as terminal with abit of
fiddling will be able to interpret what
is flowing over this frequency.

theres some stuff at the l0pht but its substandard for multiipurpose
decoding/reception. i suggest going to the HOKA web pages for a more
well-suited bit of technology.
there are just too many variables involved here to make a 1 or 2
paragraph suggestion, such as computer type(and all the different
variables here), mode of communication, type of port from the radio, etc.
so be more specific and lets see what kinda damage we can create.
