does anyone have a list of police 10 codes in the UK also any other codes or
abbreviations

will trade freqs etc too

D Division, North Yorks :

10-1 On Duty
10-2 ??????
10-3 Attend / Attending Police Station
10-4 OK/Understood etc
10-5 In attendance / arrived
10-6 Free for detail / requesting next detail etc
10-7 Nothing received / Poor radio signal etc
10-8 Secure radio to prevent public listening i.e. can you go 10-8 ?
10-9 Emergency assistance requested
10-10 Off duty / Concluded shift etc

File 5 - Warrants
File 12 - Local intelligence
File 15 - Electoral register (I think, can't remember)

Code S - Suicidal
Code W - Weapons
Code F - Firearms
Code D - Drugs
Code V - Violence

PNC - Police National Computer

A 10-2 in that force area is "use the telephone"

As in 10-2 the station etc...

The Wave web site has a listing for police 10-codes, although I would
emphasise there can be big regional variations.

Strangely, in Sussex the codes used are prefixed with a 9
ie 9-2 is meal break!!
can anyone complete the list for me??
