Thinking of buying Maycom FR100.
Your thoughts on this model welcome.
I think the Police transmissions in the 4XX Mhz range won't be there anymore
because Leics (where I live) have transferred to this Tetra encoded/digital
system that the scanner can't receive - am I right.

there is nothing at the moment that can receive and decode tetra, but from
what other people have said on here, you can hear beeps or something in that
sorta range

FR100 is that the one that overloads if someone transmits within 10,000 miles ?
