Trident TRX-200

Does anyone have a view on this scanner? I'm new to this and was going to
buy a Yupiteru 7100 as I couldn't afford an AOR8200 and when I went to buy I
was offered the trident as an option, I've seen some good reports of it, and
must admit I'm happy with what I have heard on it, especially as I am just
listening to things I have found for myself. I hear taxi company's from 15
to 20 miles away which seems good. (for a rubber duck type antenna) Base
only obviously!

Anyone else got a view?

I've owned an AOR 8200 MKII.
(This is my opinion guys,don't get ofended!) But I thought it was a big
waste of money.
Far too difficult to use, ate batteries like there was no tomorrow, and
perform not half as good as the
good old 7100. Ok, the 7100 is very basic, no alpha tags, duplex receive
etc, etc, but I think it can't
be beaten on performance. Had the 8200 for a few weeks, sold it and bought
another Yupi.

Can't give you any advice on the Trident, but I doubt very much it'll keep
up with the Yupi 7100......
