Can anybody help I am looking for wav files (or anyh format playable on a
pc) of samples of the different types of data transmitions eg rtyy, sator,
wefax etc.
I have a data sound on 205.825 FM and do not know what it is also using
SkySweep to decode. I do not know these sounds as a 'newbie' to it.
Do not know how to find out which sound it is ie rtty, fax etc.

Life is what you make of it, so go make it.
It's probably DABradio, frequency charts might be a better starting point.
most data channels you will find at 177-208 mhz are band 3 control channels
for MPT1327 trunking
but as the only 2 main nets now on 201.3-208.5 are buses and trains and
neother of those use 205.825 ,though one bus company did in london i dont
think it was on the offcial 64 allocations to buses as no other bus company
was ever found on 205.825
have you tried 205.8375 and see if signal still booms in,if so this may
actually be the freq,on NFM/FM not WFM of course
if its 205.8375 then its a common natioanl rail trunk control channel
also search 201.3-208.5 and see what voice channels you get and also knowing
location can help,so if you tell us where you are.

Tuned to 205.8375 and its' giving me 9 on signal meter (AR5000 & SDU5600
(controlling) setup)
On FM it sounds totaly different but on WFM1 and WFM2 (SDU5600 setting) it
sounds better like a data stream.
There is also peeks at 206.08125 and 205.5500 and 203.76875 according to
SDU5600 screen display.
What spacing is 201.3 to 208.5?
