There are several websites with amatuer radioplays and others with
commercial radio plays(now released to public for free webcasting)

I counted around 10 or so.

"oldtime" group does not seem to have much interest in "newtime" stuff.

Am I wasting my time?

I am interested in new-time-radio and if you start a new group please
let me know. I have a great interest in new and old radio drama and
have created a website www.dramapod.com so people can find them. I have
even recently produced a new drama myself
http://www.dramapod.com/item.php?catid=87. Any suggestions of new sites
wold be appreciated http://www.dramapod.com/contact.php?op=suggestfeed

I will have to track down Mr Ratcliff (the fellow who had a website on
Pecks Power Post, OTR and Usenet FAQ website way back in the late
90's.............i think he has wisdom in the area of starting a new
newsgroup.

Super!! - we need more folks to do so - don't let the artform
ossify(sp)!...........that would be a tragedy ;-(.

I did 4-yrs ago. Posted a few times on the Binaries (I have no website).
Series was called "Alien Futures"...........basically me as cast with
cheesy sound effects using GoldWave and Robert Sheckley short stories. A
hell of alot of fun to make ;-). i made four shows and then "life" got
in the way ;-/.

hopefully when i get my shit in order here on the homfront, I will have
more time to start and complete the other 20 or so Sheckley stories I
have waiting for me ;-).

here are a few "New-time" RadioPlay links I found:
