(Spybot too)</div><div></div><div>But with the old version, I was starting this programs on boot and WPU was working well !</div><div></div><div></div><div>Small problem, maybe it should not for word, but I speak.</div><div></div><div>I upgraded to version 1.75.94 of the Wise Program Uninstaller, but still I get a message after program restart:</div><div></div><div>"A newer version of Wise Program Uninstaller is found. Do you want update it now?"</div><div></div><div></div><div>I've been searching for a (supposedly) better uninstaller to replace the one I currently use (Wise Program Uninstaller), and I've driven myself crazy looking at all the options. There are several commercial choices with large user bases that I've found, and whenever I try to research any of them I find people who either say "this is the absolute best, don't look at anything else!", or people who say "this sucks, it's basically malware/bloatware/a piece of junk! Here's a better alternative" (and then the alternative recommendations face the same treatment...)</div><div></div><div></div><div>For something more "basic" like an uninstaller, are all of the more popular, commercial options basically the same quality-wise? Or is there really an objectively "best" option out there for these kinds of things? Which uninstaller do you use and trust? What do you think of Wise Program Uninstaller? I'm fine with using something paid, although free is always nice.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Also, how risky are forced uninstalls exactly? I usually do a forced uninstall if a program is giving me even a little bit of trouble. I don't download junk programs and am careful with my internet activities, but I have found that many programs don't seem to be totally removed with just a regular uninstall. For example, just recently I used CCleaner to remove a sticky note application that I downloaded a while ago and don't want to use anymore. Even though CCleaner and Wise uninstaller both say they can't find the specified file anymore though, I can still start up the application normally. So I thought doing a forced uninstall using Wise uninstaller would be the best option, instead of just leaving the application to clutter up my machine. I also want to have a more heavy-duty uninstaller on hand just in case I ever am infected with malware by mistake (I run regular scans with Norton and Malwarebytes and don't believe my machine has ever been infected with any sort of malware - every scan I've ever run has come back totally clean. But you can never be too safe, right?)</div><div></div><div></div><div>Wise Installation System is a tool for creating Windows setup programs based on WiseScript, which later was renamed to Wise InstallBuild, InstallMaker or InstallMaster and but back to Wise Installation System in version 9.[1]</div><div></div><div></div><div>Wise Program Uninstaller is a perfect solution for uninstalling Windows programs, allowing you to uninstall applications quickly and completely using its simple and user-friendly interface.
