President and Owner Randy Malloy on his 30 years of advocacy and commitment
to the Columbus area community through his many roles with WWCD-FM and

Alexander Vera was caught on camera punching KERN-AM Bakersfield host Ralph
Bailey, breaking his jaw. On Tuesday Vera pleaded no contest to felony
assault and now faces two years in prison when sentenced in August.

Costa Media Boston is purchasing WFAX-AM, which is licensed to Fairfax, VA,
and its FM translator W264BD, from Newcomb Broadcasting Corporation. The
sale price is $800,000.

KQED has hired Madi Bolaños as co-host of its premier statewide daily radio
news program 'The California Report'. Bolaños comes from public media
station KVPR in Fresno, where she served as the station’s immigration and
