Hello!

Now that Mutual News & NBC Radio News have merged with CBS Radio what
has happened to all the news anchors. Including: Frank Gentry, Dave
Cureton, Becky Bailey, and others?

I haven't heard them on ANY CBS newscasts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

people:

frank gentry retired.
becky bailey is still looking.
dave cureton is trying his hand at voiceovers.
ross simpson is the new morning anchor at AP radio.
dan scanlan is the new midday anchor at AP radio.
barbara porter is the new PR director at george washington university.
charles van dyke retired.

dick rosse' (35 years) retires in october and wins the severance contest
with a whopping 70 weeks!

fred lowrey died in mid-july while on vacation in his home state of
maine. the monday after his memorial service, we found out we would be
gone in 30 days.

despite the bullshit, there will never be another place like it.

Would love to track down Frank Gentry (Frank Gifford). He was a friend and co-worker of mine at WFAA/Dallas in the 70's.
