I am looking for a reference that I can use for 2 quotes. I believe that
they are both from Mark Twain and go something like this:

"There are three kinds of lies...lies, damned lies, and statistics"

"Statistics are like street lamps, they can be used for illumination or
they
can be used the way drunks lean on them for suppport"

If anyone can confirm these or supply the exact quote and a reference it
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

Wel, I found one. It was a little tricky...

"There are three kinds of lies; lies, damned lies, and statistics."
