I need quotes or short sayings that deal with coffee..
These are to be used on a marque in front of a friend's coffe house...
They should be bur don't have to be funny... just rememberable... :)

I heard one on _Ideas_ (a CBC radio program) that was mentioned as a
traditional German saying. The translation (roughly) is:

Coffee: as hot as hell, as black as night, as sweet as love.

Anyone have the original German? If so can you comment on my translation?

(damn umlauts/Umlaute)

I'm not sure, whether this is ``the perfect saying'', at least it is a
common interpretation in Germany.
