Hello Everyone,

I know I have been gone for a minute but I have been doing some
further research about people who are trying to quit smoking using
some popular products you might heard of. A lot of people have been
asking me regarding ever so popular Chantix and Zyban. You know I
really thought before that there is no wrong way to quit as long as
you can just quit. I am sorry but I have to take some of those words
back. After investigating further, I have really seen the damage some
of these drugs can cause on people. Here is something I think I can
bring awareness to people.

Before anyone takes any anti smoking drugs, they should consider the
potential side effects. In November 2007, the FDA released a health
advisory for Chantix. The drug has been linked to 55 suicides and may
cause psychological disturbances such as extremely aggressive or
erratic behavior. Some of the non lethal side effects include: nausea,
vomiting, sleep disturbance, constipation, flatulence, and hard stool.

Zyban is another popular anti smoking drug. The undesirable side
effects include: insomnia, dry mouth, restlessness, depression,
shaking, headaches, dizziness, increased heart rate, nausea, abdominal
pains, rash, eczema.

OK IM NOT GOING TO RAMBLE ON AND ON....... for more information please
visit a site a friend had recommended about natural ways to quit
smoking. http://www.squidoo.com/top-natural-ways-to-quit-smoking

Thanks

George, if you are still out there, hope you still haven't taken these
pills because I know you were asking earlier.
Give me a shout.

Thanks

I used Chantix on the advice of my doctor this year. After smoking
for 45 years, I've been smoke-free now for 5 months. That drug worked
amazingly well for me with no side effects.

And I used Zyban for quite a while a few years ago without any
problem. 36+ year stinking habit....almost five years quit now.

Wow, some of you guys are awesome for having quit using these meds. I
tried Zyban but didn't like it at all because it made me feel really
weird. Probably part of that was the withdrawal from nicotine which
sucks as is. I'm still trying to quit but I guess I'm not trying hard
enough. Natural ways can be good but I've never had any faith that
they are beyond placebo or really work. At least they don't really
have side effects right? I also found a big list on http://www.myquitsmokingdiary.com
that has most of the natural stuff listed with their ingredients.
Most look pretty similar. Anybody have a favorite herbal or
homeopathic product that worked?
