Thunderbird haz a twit filter that iz easier than in OutLook Express
to configure and apply, and for which there iz an export/import
add-on. The only drawback iz that you must disable it to read
messages more than once, so you would occasionally be confronted
with people you do not want to talk to. IOW, the only filter mark
that works iz: "Mark Az Read".

Complaints work better if you don't quote a spammer. Some people
will not even see spam, unless someone replies to it.
Complaints work better yet if you report them only to the site of
orijin.

In this case, it's google, so there's no point:
groups.google iz the
biggest source of spam on USENET.
Last time I checked, gmail was on a blocklist at
http://www.rfc-ignorant.org/tools/lookup.php?domain=gmail.com
(I've been trying to get
google.com listed there, and some sites use
block-lists for the web, too--For every action, there is an extreme
reaction, when it comes to spam).
A group for complaints is at
