I have a punk cover of soft cell's tainted love on an mp3, and i have
no idea who did the cover. sounds sorta like bad religion. anyone know
who might have done the cover? e-mail me and I'll send you the mp3 or
tell you where to get it..

The Hi-Fives did a kind of hepped up garage (Beat) cover of it on the "whole
lotta you" LP.

Lots of folks have covered that song, but from your description, the first
version that comes to mind is the version that Shades Apart did a few years
back.

Be curious to hear the version you've got on mp3.

I doubt that it's them, but the Fuck Boys (R.I.P.) from S.F. did an awesome
cover of that song many many moons ago...

tainted love was a northern soul classic by Gloria Jones in the 60s, soft cell
covered it.
