The other thing I should have noticed earlier was that King Khan and BBQ covered "Operation" by the Circle Jerks.
Despite the Circle Jerks' version being the one in my head, by the time I saw KK&BBQ, I'd forgotten all about it. So, I thought it was a King Khan and BBQ song that was incredibly catchy.
Then, of course, they popped up back to back on the shuffled playlist today.
