This NG loses at least 25% of its entertainment value for me with his
absence. Please say he's not been recalled into the marines and is currently
wandering round Kabul wearing boot-polish and a tea-towel asking for
directions to Osama's place...

he wouldn't be walking around kabul.

he'd be driving over the rubble in his BIG TRUCK.

it might get in the way of our eating, talking on cell phones, and putting on
makeup as we drive.

In article <9qccbb$hh4$1...@plutonium.btinternet.com>,
Spitf...@btinternet.com says...

Joe, you're not supposed to use Americanisms on the newsgroup. It's
"bonnet".

Read the Cabal rules; it's all in there.

You know I actually did use bonnet at first then decided they'd think I was
talking about hats or something so decided to use hood instead to make it
more readily comprehensible to furriners. Next time I'll just talk louder
and slower at them instead.

You bloody whippersnapper, don't be quoting the rules at me. I wrote the
fuckers as you well know. I'll have you on a charge of insubordination if
you don't watch it Corporal Pike.
