I don't agree to your opinion because i would say that also caffine changes
your mind and how your body react.
And you should also notice that even juice has some alcohol and i think
nearly everbody drinks it.
BUT caffine can kill: it can cause a heart attack and juice can't.
So everyone has to decide by his own weather to drink juice or coffee/coke
or not

is there anyone else out there who has an opinion?

Caffeine may not have a reputation for abuse, but some kids definitely try
to get hopped up on pills, with varying success. Caffeine is incredibly
safe in terms of LD50, ie it won't kill you, but it does cause significant
mental and physiological alterations when consumed. One could argue,
however, that SXE is really just about keeping a clear mind, and coffee
doesn't cloud your thoughts like weed or beer will, but rather amplifies
them and makes you more cogent. Caffeine is marginally addictive, however,
and can interfere with sleep patterns, hence bringing up health concerns.

SXE doesn't have one set of rules, figure out what you're okay with. I
don't think Ian would have much to say if you had a cup or two of coffee
before banging out a term paper.

Could use the same argument for speed...
