Val Lewton Pulps

I am watching the bio of Val Lewton (producer of Cat People among
other movies) on TCM. They mentioned Lewton wrote a number of pulp
novels and stories in the 1930s before he got into movies. Does anyone
here know anything about Lewton's pulp writing?

Plus, I never knew Lewton wrote pulp either. Good to learn.

I see Lewton wandered into Lamb's Cossack territory in one of his
tales. "Khlit meet Stenka..."
