I see Flynn has a new pulp collection out; he's always good.
Stories from Western Story; Fifteen Western Tales; Star Western, and
one from the mid twenties Adventure, a very hard magazine to crack in
those days.
I'd like to see a detective collection of his thirties stuff, it
moves quickly in the shamus style of the day.

I will have to look for it -- everything I've read of his has been
high quality stuff.

ditto with his detective fiction. I fact, you read his 1930s stuff
and Chandler too, and you'd think he'd be the one more likely to break
out

Hi Dave,
Are there collections of his detective stuff available? I know
there's one story in "The Big Book of Pulps," but that's all I've ever
seen.

I've only found two, both the DFW guy. "Deadly Orchid" has been in
HARD-BOILED DAMES, and the ancient Goodstone anthology, The PULPS
