ditto with his detective fiction. I fact, you read his 1930s stuff
and Chandler too, and you'd think he'd be the one more likely to break

Are there collections of his detective stuff available? I know
there's one story in "The Big Book of Pulps," but that's all I've ever
seen.

I've only found two, both the DFW guy. "Deadly Orchid" has been in
HARD-BOILED DAMES, and the ancient Goodstone anthology, The PULPS
