I have many, many. Do you mean as a unit, or on an individual basis?

I barely knew my father. He left when I was a very young child. After
that my mother was busy working to keep a roof over our heads. As I got
older (in my forties and fifties) I found mum and I shared many
interests, ancient history (which we discussed for hours), and a love of
the great outdoors (so we traveled together as much as we could). I
can't point to a single fond memory, but I do appreciate that I had an
incredible mum.

I have so many, it's hard to think of one particular memory. I
guess that the fact that there was always happiness in our
home. Our family is close-nit even today as we have branched
off into our own lives and our own families.

My dad worked while my mom stayed home with us, and we didn't
have a lot of money, but we all loved each other and respected
each other.

My mom and I are very close these days as I have realized that I
don't know more than she does. hehe ;o) She is a wonderful,
caring person.

My dad was always fun-loving and ornery. He loved a good joke.
(I know this fact surprises everyone considering the nature of
the posts that I have been adding to the ng *bg*.) He was very
proud of all of us and encouraged us no matter what it was we
wanted to do with our lives. (((hugs to Dad)))) I miss you.

I think this is a credit to both of my parents, but I cannot pinpoint one
memory for the life of me. I get one overall impression: laughter. Whenever
my family is together, I'm sure to be in tears laughing several times. My
father is the main comedian, and my mom is an awesome "straight man,"
intentional or not.
