Regarding which, anybody have current contact information for Jeff Simon? I have basically everything related to his stories on here, including a multitude of interlude chapters I didn't remember seeing posted at the time, EXCEPT Death Choir chapter 8. This is after going through the eyrie.org APDI post archive with a fine-toothed comb, as well as every web search I can think of. Kinda bugs me to have that hole in the story.

BTW: this style of writing has propagated far beyond Usenet; there's a multitude of play-by-post or cooperative fantasy roleplay writing forums in various places.

Wandering in to the chatsubo, reading the few current story pices,
wading through the spam, and then finding that article... it's like
realizing those funny stone houses up on the hill were Machu Picchu once
upon a time. Will we ever see its kind again?
