What pictures (photos, paintings, prints, etc.) do you have on display
in your home or on your computer?
Do you have a favorite picture of yourself? If so, what makes it your
fave?
Do you have a baby picture that was taken of you and a fish someone
caught?

What sort of music do you find soothing?
How do you feel when you hear a favorite song from high school being
played on the oldies station?
When was music better: back then, or now? Why?
If you listen to do-wap sorta music, what's your favorite song from that
genre?
Food. It's what's for dinner.
Do you salivate just listening to Sam Elliott do the beef commercials?

I've got some fairly decent cooking skills, so what meal would you have

Family, flowers, sunsets.

I currently like the one taken on a boat in Puerto Vallarta. I just look
like I'm having so much darn fun! Actually, I'm hanging off the edge to

Classical...Mahler, Debussy. Some movie soundtracks are great! I love the
background music in "Peggy Sue got Married"

I had fried potatoes and a salad. Plan to have a fudge pop later. And maybe
some watermelon...I LOVE SUMMER! Poor Freddie is broth/jello fasting today
in prep for this colonoscopy tomorrow. Hey, it's fun being over fifty!!

We have it here, Sam bought it. I must watch it. Saw Crash last night, no as
impressed as the critics. Oh, well.

Chocolate covered strawberries, champagne and a waterjet tub for two. 'Nuff

I started doing spring cleaning today, and I mean cleaning! Well,
getting rid of a lot of cloths and things that I've had forever. I
got into one box in the closet that had pictures that seem to be from
the 50's and 60's. Since they're all of people I don't know, I'm
tossing them. The oint is that if each picture is worth 1000 words I
bet I tossed 3 million words today!

Hmm, just a quick look around - movie posters, african art pirnts, various
ethnic textiles & doodads, masks, couple of plates, couple of
drawings/posters my sibs made, various framed nature prints or interesting
(to me) old sheet music covers

Well, there are quite a few but the two that popped into my head are a pic
of my sis & I as kids at my Grandmother & Grandfather's place during the
summer (reminds me of all the summer fun spending a couple weeks there) and
a pic of me & the gang at geology field camp (again, reminder of one of the
most fun & interesting times of my life).

besides old? *G* probably nostalgic and happy (yeah, I was one of the
oddballs that didn't totally loathe or suffer a living hell <more than
normal> during my HS years - or else my mind has totally rewritten & edited
the experience)

Neither - just different - there's lots of good stuff now (though I'm
woefully behind the times musically speaking - don't have music running
through my life as completely as I did back then). I might be more
comfortable with "my generation" music but that's just cuz I know most of
the words & can sing along *G*

Do-wop? As in Motown & the 50s? I can't think of a favorite right now but

Ya know I can't remember off the top of my head - probably just grabbed
something to microwave since I didn't get home from work til late & food was
not on the top of my list of "things to do".

Yeah, I saw it a while back but don't remember that much except it's oddness
(and how I writhed with pain & embarrassment at times for the characters).

Same here, but the idea has really grown on me. It's too late for me, but my
first grandchild is gettin' snapped with a snapper for sure!

A needlepoint of one of the family crests my mom did years ago
A bird of prey in motion ink drawing
A graphite drawing of machine gun parts done by my mom (she used to be a graphic
artist)
A huge picture (6' long) of the Colesium (sp?)
A pastel portrait of me at prox. 5 years old done by my mom
A gorgeous beachside villa drawing that I feel like I could step into (ala 'Rose
Madder')

One taken of my bro Dave when he was about 2 or 3--trying to peek through a
louvred door into the living room at the Christmas tree. It always brings to
mind the magic that Christmas has for children...and that it should still have
for adults.

Salad, believe it of not. Of course, for me a salad is crisp iceberg with fake
bacon bits and tons of Ranch.
