Very good question. The water here never gets that warm, which explains
why we don't get hurricanes here, but it's nice to just go and hang out
at the beach. I really need to do that myself sometime this summer.

Heh, I have to see what my work schedule has in store for me so I can
plan accordingly. Gone are the days when I could just hop in my car and
take off. Nope, all that ended 3 weeks ago when I was hired by Hoag
Hospital. Now I'm happily waking up at insane hours - 3 to 4 AM - and
getting to work before dawn to work in the pharmacy there.
But I'm still going to the beach this summer. My girls will make sure
of that :-)

Thanks!! It took a bit longer than I expected, but it happened. When I
finished my externship hours there I was told they'd probably be hiring
about a month later. Well, three months after that I was interviewed.
It helps that healthcare is a pretty recession-proof field to go into.
People are always going to get sick or injured; we're not Supermen.
I've been working for 5 weeks, 3 for training then into the rotation,
and it's going well so far. This also explains why I'm only logging on
to Usenet once a week or so :-) I'm still out here via email.
