approximately 110 of Zaytoun’s residents into Ibtisam's home. At
approximately 7 am on January 5th, the Israeli military launched two
tank shells at the house without warning killing two of Ibtisam’s
children: Rizka, 14 and Faris, 12. When the survivors attempted to
flee Israeli forces shot at them. Her son Abdullah, 7, was injured in
the shelling and remained in the home among his deceased siblings for
four days before Israeli forces permitted medical personnel into
Zaytoun to rescue them.} [#3] Und so weiter.

For ancient reasons of social pathology often discussed before and
best explained in detail in the three main works of the late Professor

Although the main phase of the Gaza Massacre ended two years ago, the
JAPE slaughter in the region, of course, rages yet.

“inadvertently” killed a woman and her seven small children, all seven
years old or younger, according to an Afghan government statement. The
intended target of the raid, a Taliban organizer, was not in the house

Located about 20 miles east of the ancient Roman city of Leptis Magna,
six miles south of Zliten, and off Libya's southern coast across the
Mediterranean from Rome, Majer was a picturesque village known for the
fine quality of its dates and is claimed by locals to produce the best
tarbuni (date juice) in Libya.
Family members, eyewitnesses and Libyan government officials claim
that NATO's air-strikes at Majer killed 85 people, including 33
children, 32 women and 20 men. Reporters and visitors were shown 30 of
the bodies in a local morgue, including a mother and two children.
Officials and residents explained that approximately 50 bodies were
taken to other locations for family burial and most of the injured
rushed to hospitals at Tripoli....} [snip]
I immediately circulated the article above to a few dozen of my
econtacts along with the following comment:
{The excellent Franklin Lamb deserves the full support of all honest
people. We note, however, that the fresh war crimes he describes today
in Libya continue a path began in the Fall of 1946 with the French
naval bombardment of the port of Haiphong, murdering some 6K victims.
The then scarecrow French were acting as catspaws for the Truman
Administration, whose point man for Indochina was Dean Rusk. The all-
important word "murder" first became applicable on this date because
of the previous promulgation by the International Military Tribunal

I've been reading _This Time We Went Too Far: Truth & Consequences of
the Gaza Invasion_ by Norman G. Finkelstein (OR Books, 2010). Even
though Finkelstein is "functionally a Zionist of the Left-liberal
persuasion" there is no denying his passionate and often principled
argumentation in support of positions that are generally helpful to
those unemcumbered by Finkelstein's tribal loyalties.}
HW: Note that Finkelstein calls the slaughter an "invasion" --like D-
Day?-- rather than a "massacre". Years ago already I have tagged
NF as the designated heir apparent to the aged Noam Chomsky as the
Jews' Minister of the Left. The "We" in his title is for real.
I also stand by naming the miserable event by its location & the
identity of the victims rather than by the Jewish liturgical calendar.
