At this point I am posting the more-or-less self-explanatory material
below primarily for public research purposes. The interested student
from cultures other than the North Asian may have first to familiarize
herself with the most ancient, elegant & powerful oriental game of
surrounding (perfect information) which so far is commonly called in
"barbarian"
(my term) languages by its Japanese name of "_go_". For more than a
thousand years in China, mastery of this art was considered to be the
first of the four marks of the "mandarin" or scholar-official, the
basic individual unit of the ruling class of the Celestial Empire. The
original, Chinese name for the game = "_wei chi_" or "surrounding
chess". The Koreans, who per capita are the world masters therein,
call it "_baduk_". In all three home countries, this game has for
centuries enjoyed even more prestige than does chess in Russia.
About twenty years ago, my fellow former officer of the San Francisco
Go Club, Mark Okada 6-dan of Berkeley, invented the Internet Go Server
or IGS*

which was the first on-line venue for playing the game. It turns out
that the most modern Internet and the most ancient game mate
perfectly. Ten years ago the programmer William M. Shubert of
Portland, Oregon, introduced a variation on the original idea, KGS, as
noted below, which more prominently features chat rooms in addition to
actual playing & game review functions.
Time permitting, I may in the future offer both procedural and
substantive suggestions based in part on the exchanges below. I began
copying the conversation only after it was already well underway, so
we are coming in medias res.

more than ten million people in the last twenty years alone.
Because of the long-noted peculiar nature of the distributed

righteous Seven Billion of Earth, may achieve a clear understanding of

the opprobrium of the sister term "self-righteous",
'tis of the greatest importance IMHO for those who do stand for
justice to develop a sense of self-awareness and a firm grasp of the

addicted as they are to waging aggressive war.
Those last two fatal words mean mass murder, torture, industrial-
strength lies aka "mainstream news media" and
robbery on a planetary scale. Each of us should meditate regularly on
individual cases of our choice --for example,
those of Iman al-Hams, Akaber Zaid, Abir Aramin and Rachel Corrie-- in
order to prepare ourselves for the intellectual exercise of
multiplying by the necessary factor of millions
the fate of any one given victim. Such preparation will provide us
with the motive for constructing the essential hierarchy
of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of Earth.
Many inspiring examples in history remind us that
yagotta have somebody to beat anybody. We Americans (here to speak of
my own nation) have the duty and the opportunity to learn from the
successes of Presidents Hugo Chavez, Nelson Mandela, Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad, Evo Morales, Rafael Correa, Fernando Lugo and Hizbullah
Secretary-General
Hassan Nasrallah, among others.

Will we learn to save time by using positive grammar to the max? Thus
to transform a Jewish proverb, she who can endure the evil will live
to see glory. Let our watchwords be: Save life! Live and let live.
Friendly competition. Mercy* to all criminals, even the Bushes,
Clintons and Obama meaning, of course, that first we put them at our
mercy.
