Ominous Omicron slinks across the globe looking for disbelievers to kill

"Ominous Omicron" has arrived on the planet, the latest in a series of
COVID-19 variants, bred in the wilds of South Africa and first appearing
to be a significant new health threat.

Scientists are now increasingly warning the public that COVID-19 may
become a perennial threat, via mutations, for years to come. That means
that theoretically it's one of the biggest plagues humanity has faced.

And while 772,000 Americans have already succumbed to it and its
variations, it's the raucous rumbling of far right-wingers' defiance
(and disbelief) that is shaking the nation's confidence along with their
sustained attacks on the electoral system and courts.

And of course, the support for vigilantism and its father of chaos, Donnie.

Hell's elevators are being readied for a sudden huge rush.

Sacrifice will be central to revamping our species' behavior, no matter
if the changes are beneficial or not.

I'd expect a computer-crazed populace to refer to revolution and civil
war as a "reset" since other such references commonly are used to
describe humans and their behaviors.

We're often influenced by the prevailing mindset and cultural trappings
of our times - having only fantasies and narcissism to power us through
it all. Unless, of course, you're religious and can add on faith,
miracles, prayers, angels and Jesus' return. Which may, in fact, be part
of the narcissism.

With computers and game consoles, the people are hitting the "Reset"
on themselves. It's their computer getting reset, their game. Here. Now.

Why do we pay people to create a housing crisis? We do. There's no

of those or all three, perhaps, will be sacrifice aplenty.

Don't fool yourself. You won't be experiencing the mess solely on your
monitor or wall-size screen without pain, fear, anger, etc., raking your
consciousness.

And beyond that, the physical and material world will come under great
stress as economies and management falter.
